2022: Played in seven games and played three different positions during the season including quarterback, wide receiver, and safety...Named RMAC Offensive Player of the Week after completing 20-of-29 passing for 325 yards and four touchdowns and rushed for 76 yards and a touchdown in a season-ending win over New Mexico Highlands on November 12...Threw for 342 yards and four touchdowns against Chadron State on November 5...Had seven tackles against Fort Lewis on October 15...Threw for 63 yards against William Jewell in the season-opening win after hauling in a 10-yard catch earlier in the game.

2021: National Football Foundation All-Colorado Academic Honorable Mention...Appeared in six games...Finished the season 6-for-7 passing for 94 yards and a touchdown...Rushed 17 times for 183 yards and two touchdowns...Went 2-for-2 passing for 52 yards and a touchdown against Black Hills State on November 6...Carried the ball twice for 87 yards and a touchdown in the season opener against William Jewell on September 2. 

2020: Played in all three games for the Mavericks during the COVID shortened season...Finished the season 26-for-60 with 299 yards and a touchdown through the air and 93 yards and a touchdown on the ground...Threw for 143 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 87 yards and a touchdown against Black Hills State on October 17 in the snow. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Led Pine Creek to the State 4A Title with a 34-3 win over Broomfield and earned the Most Valuable Player award for the game...Finished his senior season with 1,722 yards and 25 touchdowns passing...Rushed for another 470 yards and seven touchdowns.

PERSONAL: Majoring in Psychology...Son of Thomas and Jennifer Herberg...Has one sibling, Jacob...Chose CMU because of the winning culture...Enjoys the outdoors.
