Mac Alexander has been an assistant coach at Colorado Mesa University since 2014. He works with the defense, primarily the defensive backs.
Alexander, coached four All-RMAC defensive backs and one All-American in 2015. The secondary finished the year with 19 interceptions and only allowed seven passing touchdowns.
Alexander is an alumni of CMU where he played football and basketball. In 2015, he helped with the defensive line and coached an all-conference honorable mention player, and was part of the staff who had the first winning season since 2008.
He graduated with a degree in exercise science and minor in business from CMU and has a masters in human performance and physical education. Alexander and his wife Chazlyn were wed in 2016.
