Crockett Gillmore joined the Colorado Mesa coaching staff in the spring of 2022. He will serve as the defensive line coach and the co-special teams coordinator 

He played four seasons at Colorado State and was voted first team All-Mountain West as a senior. He participated in both the East-West Shrine Game and the Senior Bowl that led to him being drafted in the third round, 99th overall, in the 2014 NFL Draft by the Baltimore Ravens.

Gillmore played three years in the NFL for the Ravens and finished his career with 51 catches for 604 yards and six touchdowns as a tight end.
