As a Freshman (2022): Played in seven games… Scored a goal on Apr. 22 at CSU Pueblo… Took eight shots, five of which were on goal, throughout the season… Had a ground ball on Apr. 9 at home against CSU Pueblo.

Prep: 2021 graduate of Grandview High School, where he played for the Wolves and Coach Keith Lindgren… Earned Second Team All-Centennial League honors… Recorded 44 points in an 8-game stretch… Was a 4-year varsity letterman.
 
Personal: Is majoring in criminal justice… Wants to go into the field at the federal level, working in the DEA, Homeland Security or Postal Inspection Service after graduation… Son of Greg and Holly McGahey… Has an older brother named Jack… Loves to golf, fly fish, wake surf, hike, string lacrosse sticks, play lacrosse and hang out with friends and family.
 
Why I Chose CMU: “I chose CMU because I love the social environment, academics, location, and lacrosse. I love to be outdoors and fly fish but more importantly, I love lacrosse. I believe CMU has a very highly skilled lacrosse team that will challenge me day in and day out. I'm from Colorado and being able to play at the collegiate in my own state was a big dream of mine. I believe CMU was the best choice for me because the lacrosse team is a strong and loving family along with outstanding academics that will prepare me for the next chapter in my life.”
