2021 (Graduate): Earned First Team All-RMAC honors as a defender… Played in 11 games, making nine starts… Finished with five ground balls and eight caused turnovers… Scooped a season-high eight ground balls on May 8 against Westminster in the RMAC Tournament Championship game… Also had two caused turnovers in that game after recording a season-high three on Apr. 11 at CSU Pueblo... Finished his career ranked seventh in program history for caused turnovers (40) and sixth for games played (66).

2020 (Senior): Played in six games, making one start, during the pandemic shortened season… Recorded five caused turnovers, including a career-high four in a Feb. 10 win at Shorter… Also scooped up four ground balls.

2019 (Junior): Played in 16 games and started in 10 of them... Recovered 16 ground balls and caused 12 turnovers.

2018 (Sophomore): Played in 19 games, starting 13 of them …Named to the Second Team All-RMAC squad at the long stick midfielder position... Picked up 22 ground balls and caused nine turnovers… Recorded a goal against CSU Pueblo (Apr. 6).

2017 (Freshman): Played in 14 games...Had two assists...Picked up 10 ground balls.

Prep: Played for the Warriors of Foxborough High School and Coach Matt Noone… Was a First Tam All-Hockomock League selection as a senior in 2016… Had earned honorable mention all-conference and All-HockomockSports.com honors as a junior… Was a varsity starter as a freshman.

Club: Played for Laxachusetts, a blue chip team, coached by Dave Evans.

Personal: Is pursuing a master’s degree in sports management… Hopes to find a job in the sports industry, either with a professional team or for a sporting goods company… Son of Kurt and Jackie Buckner... Has two sisters— Brooke and Lexi… Lexi plays softball for Curry College… Enjoys fishing, skiing and traveling… Chose CMU for the beautiful scenery, amazing campus and competitive lacrosse.
