2020: Played in all three games for the Mavericks during the COVID shortened season...Finished the season with 14 total tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks and a blocked kick during his first season...Had five tackles against Chadron State on October 10 and Black Hills State on October 17...Finished with two sacks against Black Hills State...Blocked a kick against Chadron State in the season opener.

PREVIOUS SCHOOL: Played for the Long Beach City College Vikings...All-Conference selection.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for the Roman of Los Angeles High School and coach Eric Scott...All-City selection in 2016 and 2017.

PERSONAL: Majoring in Business...Son of Lois and Leonard Hayes...Has six siblings Tatierria, Tatianna, Tiara, Tahjam, Avalesha and Louis...Chose CMU because the coaching staff made him feel at home...Enjoys playing Madden.
