GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - Bookcliff Family Dental has been named the Official Dentist of Colorado Mesa University (CMU) Athletics, a new partnership that brings expert dental care and custom-fitted mouthguards to Maverick student-athletes.
 
As part of the agreement, Bookcliff Family Dental will provide custom mouthguards to 400 CMU student-athletes across the university's athletic programs, including 200 dedicated to the football program, along with dental care support designed to help keep Mavericks healthy, protected and performing at their best both on and off the field.

Custom mouthguards, unlike generic store-bought options, are individually molded to fit each athlete's teeth, offering superior protection against injury while improving comfort, fit, and breathing during competition. Through this partnership, Bookcliff Family Dental will work directly with CMU's athletic training staff to fit and distribute mouthguards to student-athletes across CMU's athletic programs throughout the year.
 
The partnership reflects a shared commitment between Bookcliff Family Dental and Colorado Mesa University to supporting the health, safety, and success of student-athletes in the Grand Junction community.
