LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Colorado Mesa Director of Creative Media
Ellis Dunn was announced as the Videographer of the Year for the College Division on Wednesday (June 10) at the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Special Awards Luncheon in the Mandalay Bay Ballroom.
Videographer of the Year is one of the highest honors bestowed by CSC in their annual Creative & Digital Design Contest which recognizes excellence in design, photography and videography across the entire collegiate athletic landscape.
Since joining Colorado Mesa University in March of 2025, Dunn has led the athletic department's creative media efforts, overseeing video production and visual storytelling across the institution's various athletic programs. His work on the announcement video (seen below) of the partnership with BSN and the department's switch to Nike products was widely viewed as one of his best pieces in his yearly portfolio.
College Sports Communicators (CSC), formerly known as CoSIDA, is the leading professional organization for sports communications professionals in college athletics. Its Creative & Digital Design Contest recognizes excellence in design, photography, and videography across the collegiate landscape.
The CSC Creative & Digital Design Contest, now in its second year of recognizing Videographer of the Year, drew entries from institutions across all levels of the CSC membership. The College Division encompasses all non-NCAA Division I programs, making Dunn's recognition a standout achievement among peers from hundreds of colleges and universities nationwide.
