COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Earlier this week, the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference released the All-Conference Team for baseball that included several Colorado Mesa players including four of the five major award winners.
In all, the Mavericks were rewarded with the RMAC Coach of the Year, RMAC Player of the Year, RMAC Pitcher of the Year, RMAC Freshman Pitcher of the Year along with six first team recipients, six second team award winners and three gold glove honorees.
Head coach
Chris Hanks was named the RMAC Coach of the Year for the 14
th time in his career in 2026. Hanks led the Mavericks to a 45-4 overall record and one of the best conference records in the RMAC's history at 31-1. The 45 wins was the most in NCAA Division II during the regular season and it was the 18
th time in his career he led the Mavericks to a 40-win season.
Senior
Kolby Felix was named the RMAC Player of the Year and a First Team selection in the outfield. Felix led the Mavericks in batting average (.422), home runs (15), slugging percentage (.817), and on-base percentage (.556). He is currently riding an 18-game hitting streak into this weekend's RMAC Tournament.
The Sun City, Ariz. native ranks No. 5 nationally in runs scored (77), No. 15 in slugging percentage, and No. 26 in batting average.
This is the second First Team nod and third overall All-RMAC honor. Felix was also recognized on the RMAC Gold Glove team for his defensive work in the outfield.
Freshman
Jackson Eisenhauer was a double major award recipient as he not only won the RMAC Freshman Pitcher of the Year award but the RMAC Pitcher of the Year honor. Eisenhauer finished the regular season with an 8-1 record with a miniscule 2.04 ERA in 53 innings pitched. He struck out 54 batters against just eight walks with opponents batting just .235 against him.
The Los Angeles, Calif. native ranks No. 9 nationally in ERA, No. 7 in strikeout-to-walk ratio (6.00), and No. 15 in walks allowed per nine innings (1.53).
Sophomore
Ezra Farmer was named to the first team after batting .369 with 18 doubles, two triples, and six home runs. His 18 doubles were No. 5 in the RMAC while his 60 RBI were No. 5 in the RMAC.
Senior
Kennedy Hara was named the All-RMAC First Team infielder after playing excellent defense and batting .385 on the season. He added 16 doubles, a triple and three home runs at the dish while ranking No. 5 nationally in sacrifice bunts with 11.
Redshirt senior
Caleb Ruter earned All-RMAC First Team accolades for the second time in his career. Ruter went 6-0 with a 4.86 ERA in 53.2 innings pitched with 48 strikeouts including a complete game shutout of CSU Pueblo one year following ACL surgery.
Senior
Sage Ferguson was named the All-RMAC First Team relief pitcher after making 17 appearances on the season. Ferguson currently has six saves and a 2.14 ERA and a 0.90 WHIP in 21 innings pitched. He has struck out 27 batters against just two walks.
Rocco DiFrancesco was named to the Second Team at catcher after batting .352 with six doubles and three home runs.
Redshirt freshman
Trevor Tse was named to the Second Team at second base after batting .400 with 10 doubles and four home runs in his first collegiate season.
Junior
Joey Blank was awarded with a Second Team infielder position after batting .343 with eight doubles, five home runs, and 51 runs driven in.
Senior
Cameron Cartwright earned his second straight All-RMAC selection this season with a second team nod. The Parker, Colo. native batted .366 with 15 doubles and eight home runs with 47 runs driven in.
Rafael Espinoza earned Second Team honors as a starting pitcher after strong second half of the season. Espinoza is 5-0 with a 3.44 ERA in 36.2 innings pitched.
Redshirt freshman
Jett Walker was named to the Second Team as a relief pitcher. Walker pitched 16.1 innings with 26 strikeouts and 2.20 ERA while opponents batted .194 against him.
The Mavericks had two additional RMAC Gold Glove members to go with
Kolby Felix.
Noah Neufeld was named as the catcher with a .994 fielding percentage while
Landon Nunes earned the spot at first base with a .996 fielding percentage.
