Felix, Eisenhauer lead four on NCBWA All-America Team

WINGATE, N.C. – With the NCAA postseason in full swing, the awards keep flowing for the Colorado Mesa baseball team.
 
Earlier this week, the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association released their All-American teams. The group is split into three teams and includes an honorable mention list with honorees earning at least 25 percent of the vote.
 
Four Mavericks earned mention on the NCBWA All-American team for their efforts during the 2026 season.
 
Kolby Felix was named to the NCBWA All-America First Team after earning South Central Region Player of the Year last week. The Sun City, Ariz. native earned almost every accolade that he could as he took home RMAC Player of the Year and RMAC Gold Glove honors along with All-Region honors from the NCBWA and D2CCA.
 
Felix starred in 55 games with a batting average of .427 with 21 doubles and 17 home runs and 26 stolen base. He has scored 87 runs which ranks No. 3 in NCAA Division II, has an on-base-percentage of .558 which ranks No. 7 in NCAA Division II, and has an .825 slugging percentage which is No. 12 in NCAA Division II.
 
Freshman Jackson Eisenhauer was named the NCBWA All-American Second Team after his first collegiate campaign. The Los Angeles, Calif. native earned NCBWA and D2CCA South Central Region Pitcher of the Year honors earlier on his way to the All-American honors.
 
Eisenhauer is 8-1 with a 3.09 ERA in 58.1 innings pitched with 59 strikeouts against just 12 walks. He has a strikeout-to-walk ratio of 4.92 which ranks No. 11 in NCAA Division II and had a season-high seven strikeouts against Quincy on February 15.
 
Sage Ferguson and Ezra Farmer earned NCBWA Honorable Mention All-American honors as they appeared on at least four ballots.
 
Ferguson was a First Team All-Region honoree by the NCBWA along with the D2CCA. Ferguson is 1-0 with a 2.28 ERA and six saves in 20 appearances. The Hawthorne, Nev. native has pitched 23.2 innings and allowed 20 hits with 33 strikeouts and two walks…Has a WHIP of 0.93 (allowing less than one base runner an inning.)
 
Farmer picked up NCBWA and D2CCA All Region honors last week after a stellar first season with the Mavericks. The San Jacinto, Calif. product played in 55 games and is batting .356 with 19 doubles, two triples, and six home runs.
