Greer earns RMAC Special Teams Player of the Week honor

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference released their weekly players of the week for football on Monday (Nov. 2) afternoon. Colorado Mesa's Noah Greer was named the RMAC Special Teams Player of the Week for his performance in the matchup with New Mexico Highlands.

Greer finished the game with 131 yards worth of returns but none bigger than the 96-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the second quarter. The kickoff return for a touchdown was the first for the Mavericks since October 12, 2024 when Noah Greer took a kickoff return 88-yards for a touchdown.

The Aurora, Colo. native was a part of a Maverick special teams unit that had two touchdowns on the day as Colorado Mesa blocked a punt and recovered it in the endzone for a touchdown.

He currently ranks in the top five in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference in both kick return average (25.1) and punt return average (8.3).

Greer and the Mavericks will be on the road for the final time this season as they head to Durango for a showdown with the Fort Lewis Skyhawks on Saturday at Noon.
