GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – The non-conference baseball game between Colorado Mesa and Division I Utah Valley scheduled for Tuesday afternoon has been canceled due to forecasted weather and temperatures in Orem.
The National Weather Service is forecasting a 90 percent chance of snow showers on Tuesday in Orem with temperatures not getting above 45 degrees. Both the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) and the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) have policies for feels like temperatures and those are projected to push that threshold.
Both coaches mutually agreed to cancel this year's game and are scheduled to meet during the 2026 season.
Colorado Mesa will now prep for their weekend RMAC series with Adams State scheduled to begin at 3:00pm on Friday at The Diamond.
