WINTER PARK, Fla. – The No. 8 Colorado Mesa baseball team battled back from one deficit on the day but was unable to make a second as they lost the series finale 13-4 to No. 15 Rollins on Saturday (Feb. 10) afternoon at Alfond Stadium.
The Tars plated four runs in the first inning to take a 4-0 lead.
Colorado Mesa answered quickly in the next half inning with three runs of their own. With one on and one out, junior

Two batters later,
Ethan Ezor hit a ground-rule double to left and freshman
Joey Blank followed him with a single that scored Ezor from second to make it 4-3 after two complete.
With one out in the third,
Paul Schoenfeld walked which brought
Braden Winget to the plate. The senior hit a double to left field which brought Schoendfeld all the way around from first to tie the game at 4-4 through three innings.
Unfortunately, the Tars would score nine unanswered runs in the final six innings of action.
The freshman Blank finished the game with two hits and a run driven in.
Newcomer
