HUNTSVILLE, Ala.— Colorado Mesa University beach volleyball duo Ellie Ask and Barett Nolan dropped two more matches and will play in the 61st place bracket of the AVCA Beach National Championships on Sunday here at the John Hunt Park Sand Volleyball Complex.

The Maverick duo also went 0-2 in modified pool play on Friday and began Saturday's action in the 49th place bracket and dropped a 21-16, 21-10 decision to Florida International's Aleksandra Chudzik and Arianna Franklin.  They then fell in the 57th place bracket to North Florida's Cameron Humphries and Kenzie Murphy by a 21-16, 21-15 margin.

Ask, a freshman from Kasson, Minesota, who is competing in her first collegiate matches this weekend, and Nolan, a senior from Mission Viejo, California via Ventura College, will play Tennessee-Martin's Olivia O'Keefe and Riley Rushing in their first match on Sunday at 11 a.m. CST (10 a.m. Mountain).
