GLENDALE, Ariz.— The Colorado Mesa University women's tennis team dominated Arizona Christian University for the second time in as many days, posting another 7-0 win over the Firestorm to close out their Phoenix Duals weekend with a 2-1 overall record here at the Paseo Racquet Center.
The Mavericks are now 3-3 this spring and 4-5 overall.
The NAIA opponents are now 1-3.

Dan MacDonald shuffled his lineup for Saturday's dual to help avoid some repeat matches from Friday afternoon's win.
That move worked as the Mavericks won two of the three doubles matches by 6-2 margins as
Makenna Livingston and
Issy Coman, playing for the first time this spring, won at No. 1 over their in a battle of regionally-ranked duos in their respective organizations, by that margin.
Macy Richards and
Halle Romero also won by that score line at No. 2 while
Paige Furin and
Julianna Campos blanked Emma Troyer and Halle Stork, 6-0 in the third flight.
In singles, the Mavericks won all six matches in straight sets.
Richards got the nod at No. 1 and knocked off Deondra Bacchus, ranked 13th in the ITA's NAIA West Region Rankins by a 7-5, 6-4 score. Livingston, ranked tenth in the NCAA Division II West Region, was a 6-4, 6-1 win over Vittoria Quaddri, ranked 14th at No. 2 singles.
Paige Furin and
Kristen Thomas were also easy winners at No. 3 and No. 4 while freshman
Delia Maier and Jane Steuer got the starts in the fifth and sixth flights.
Maier, in the lineup for the second time this season, defeated Troyer, 6-1, 6-2 while Steuer was a 6-4, 6-3 winner over Jasmine Thompson.
The Mavericks are off next week before continuing their season with their first match against a Pacific West Conference counterpart on Friday, Mar. 3 at Biola.
