Grand Junction, Colo. – The Colorado Mesa women's lacrosse team defeated CSU-Pueblo 21-1 in Friday's RMAC match-up at Community Hospital Unity Field.
The Mavericks (7-4 overall, 5-1 RMAC) are on a three-game winning streak after beating the Thunderwolves and creating a new margin of victory. The previous largest margin of victory was in 2015 with the Mavericks winning 20-6 against the Thunderwolves.

Kiley Davis and Reagan Wentz coming behind with two goals apiece.
Melanie Evans and
Taylor Jakeman had a strong game as they each scored in the first period – Evans getting a goal in the first minute – and three assists each.
The Mavericks currently lead the RMAC with 151 goals on the season with shots on goal percentage improving to .716.
The Mavericks took 39 shots to Pueblo's nine and caused 18 turnovers.
Goalkeeper,
Shannon Murphy, made three saves and is 4-4 with wins in the net.
Pueblo (1-8 overall, 1-4 RMAC) scored their only goal of the game with 13:22 remaining in fourth period that was unassisted by Ashley Hendricks.
