Winter Park, Fla. – Colorado Mesa women's lacrosse saw two goal games from 
Regan Wentz, 
Ali Bryant and 
Kiley Davis – their efforts falling short Thursday afternoon at Barker Family Stadium against No. 8 ranked Rollins College.
The Tars scored eight unanswered goals in the first period, the Mavericks getting on the board in the second thanks to Bryant. CMU took 17 total shots, landing 11 on goal. 
Lula Mitchell stepped in and logged 42 minutes defending the net, collecting a season high five saves. Her and 
Shannon Murphy, stopping eight as a unit.
With a 12-11 edge in draw controls, 
Nici Boutwell led those efforts with five.
Bryant broke through within the first couple minutes of the second, Davis tacking the team's second shortly after. 
Using a 4-2 scoring advantage in the third period, Wentz netted the first at the 12:39 mark. 
Brianna Anderson connecting with Davis for the second. Wentz put through her second, the team's third of the period around the five minute mark, before Bryant closed out the period with her second with under four minutes to play.
No. 23 Saint Leo awaits the Mavs on Thursday, 5 p.m. Colorado Mesa looking to end their trip on a high note.
