Box Score Gunnison, Colo. – Colorado Mesa grabbed their third win of the season in dominant fashion, defeating Washington Adventist, 99-59 in Friday's Comfort Inn Classic hosted by Western Colorado.
The last time they racked up over 90-points was against Western Colorado on Feb. 26. Last season's highest point total was in the Mavs 100-98 win over Adams State on Dec. 18.
The Mavericks hit over fifty-percent of their shots, and pulled down 40 rebounds. The Shock hung close with 32 rebounds and held a 13-9 edge in offensive rebounds.
Blaise Threatt collected 22-points for his second straight 20-plus point game of the season, and fifth straight game in double-digits. He led five Maverick players who finished in double-figures.
Trevor Baskin was right behind Threatt with 19-points.
Isaac Jessup played significant minutes contributing a season high 15-points and three steals.
Reece Johnson followed up with 13-points, draining three of the team's 10, 3-pointers.
Mac Riniker rounded out the Mavs scoring contingent with 11-points.
They will return to Paul Wright Gymnasium tomorrow, to take on University of the Southwest at 5:30 p.m.
