GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – The Colorado Mesa women's wrestling team will host Lindenwood in their final home dual of the season on Thursday as part of a first-ever double dual with the men's program beginning at 5pm. The Mavericks will also compete in the EZ-Flex Invitational in Ottawa, Kan. on Sunday.
 
HEALED UP
Local product freshman Kaylee Lacy is all healed up from her injury she sustained during the Missouri Valley Open back in November. She competed in the West Coast Tournament of Champions where she went 3-3 but hadn't been full go in practice to that point.
 
She is fully recovered and will look to get back where she was prior to the injury where she started the year 3-0.
 
SIERRA
Freshman Sierra Brown Ton has made the cut to 123 pounds and has thrived since making the cut. The Allen, Texas product placed fifth at the difficult West Coast Tournament of Champions with her lone two losses coming to ranked wrestlers from Wayland Baptist and Menlo.
 
She has now placed in two of the three tournaments the Mavericks have competed in this year.
 
NEWCOMER
Colorado Mesa added one wrestler to their roster over the winter break. Freshman Ally Saindon from Bakerfield, Calif. will likely wrestle at 130 pounds and is slated to compete in an exhibition and the open this weekend.
