Recap

Multiple times throughout the first half defenders Jocelyn Ceccaralli and Hannah Naftanel made incredible stops that frustrated the Orediggers offense. The Maverick's defense and goalkeeper Janelle Richmond-Buccola did not allow a goal in the first half against a team that averages 1.33 goals per game. Colorado School of Mines also average 18.2 shots per game and the Mavericks were able to limit them to 16. Two shy of their season average.

After this goal the Mavericks only took one more shot attempt. Ryanne Parker took a shot in the 84th minute to attempt to tie the game but her shot resulted in being too wide. After 90 minutes of actions the Mavericks came up scoreless against the Orediggers. This year the Orediggers have not allowed a goal to an opposing team and their streak continues.
