Men's basketball plays their final two home games for the 2017-18 season this weekend. It features two rematches against Adams State University (ASU) and No. 14 Fort Lewis College (FLC). When these teams last met one another, the Mavericks pulled out a close win in overtime against ASU but lost to FLC by 16.
With this being the final weekend at home, the Mavericks will be hosting their senior night to honor their lone senior on the roster:
CJ Davis. It should be a special weekend for Davis as he is one basket away from 1,000 career points with the Mavericks.
CMU is not out of the playoffs just yet, they currently sit in tenth place with a 7-10 conference record and 11-12 overall record. They are only one game back from the seventh seeded New Mexico Highlands with five games left in the regular season.
Both games are set for 7:30 p.m. tip offs, just following the women's games.
