Final Games of the Regular Season

STANDINGS WATCH: The Mavericks are locked into the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference tournament but there seed is still completely up in the air. They are currently sitting in seventh place but still have an outside shot of attaining the No. 4 seed and host a first round game. 

DIMES: Senior Erin Reichle is currently in fourth on the all-time assists list but trails the third spot by just one. Her second assist of the weekend will move her into third place ahead of Jamie Teeters who had 344 assists from 1995-98. 

CLOSE IT OUT: Under head coach Taylor Wagner, the Mavericks are 8-2 in the games occuring on the final weekend of the year. Their lone two losses came two seasons ago in a loss to Westminster and in 2014 against Fort Lewis which came as the first loss of the season.

SHOOT IT: Colorado Mesa has the season edge in field goal percentage over both of its opponents this weekend. They are 16-2 this season when they outshoot their opponents. 

LAST TIME OUT: Colorado Mesa fell to CSU-Pueblo 67-60 back on December 15 in a closely contested battle. The Mavericks rebounded the next night, defeating New Mexico Highlands 60-38 in the final game before the winter break.
