Men's basketball finishes out their 2017-18 season this weekend with two games against CSU-Pueblo (CSUP) and New Mexico Highlands (NMH). After falling in their one game over the weekend, the Mavericks sit at 7-13 in the conference. That record sits them in 12th place, one game behind CSUP and two games behind NMH.
CMU currently still leads the conference in assists per game at 18.1 entering the weekend, and they are third in assist-to-turnover ratio at 1.4.
Connor Nichols is leading the Mavericks at 19.3 points per game and 7.6 rebounds. Both of those stats put him in the top five in those categories in the conference.
This will be senior
CJ Davis's final two games in a Maverick uniform. He is averaging 11.3 points per game this season while shooting 36.3 percent from behind the arc.
Friday's game is set for 7:30 p.m. start time while Saturday's begins at 7 p.m.
