LAS VEGAS, N.M.- The Mavericks tied 1-1 with New Mexico Highlands on Friday night after 110 minutes of action. After Friday night's match the Mavericks RMAC record is now 2-4-2.

Emily Signorio started as goal keeper for the Mavericks for the fifth time this season. She recorded seven saves throughout the entire 110 minutes of play.
The Mavericks took eight shots in the first half but none resulted in a goal. The Maverick's defense limited the Cowgirls to five shots in the first half. Neither team found the net in the first half.
In the 60th minute the Mavericks netted the first goal of the game. Lauren Thompson and Lexi Newton pushed the ball ahead to find Ryanne Parker. Parker beat the Cowgirl goal keeper at the bottom right corner of the box. Thompson and Newton were both awarded the assist.
Nearly twenty minutes later the Cowgirl's Janis Martinez took advantage of a loose ball and netted a goal to tie the Mavericks.
Parker attempted a shot in the final minutes of the game but did not find success.
The Mavericks outshot the Cowgirls six to one in overtime. Alexis Allard took three shots in over time while Jocelyn Ceccarelli took two. No shot found the net and the Mavericks tied for their third time this season.

The Mavericks will remain on the road this Sunday as they travel to CSU-Pueblo for a match against the Thunderwolves. Game time is set for noon in Pueblo, Colo.
