Colorado Mesa University's men's basketball team comes into this weekend looking to end their three game losing streak. They will hed out on the road for only the second time since the start of conference play, as they travel to Chadron State College (CSC) and Regis University (RU).
These two teams have been polar opposites of one another so far this season. While RU (10-3) is one of only three teams in the conference to have double digit wins this season, CSC (3-11) is one of only two teams in the conference with double digit losses. RU currently sits in sixth place in the RMAC, based off their 4-3 conference record, while CSC sits in last place.
CMU is currently in the middle of the pack at 5-8. They are sitting in tenth place, and only a couple games back from being in the top eight in the conference. However, the Mavericks are one of four teams with a 2-5 conference record, and can easily move up and down in the standings over the coming weeks.
Five of the Mavericks final eight series will be on the road.
