Men's Basketball Looks for Payback

Men's basketball will be traveling away from Brownson Arena this weekend, which they will be doing often to end the season with seven of their remaining 11 games coming on the road. This time it is a rematch against Metro State University on Friday, and a game against UCCS on Saturday.

MSU comes in as the third ranked team in the RMAC, with a 9-8 overall record but an 8-3 conference one. Meanwhile, UCCS sits in 13th place with a mere 6-11 overall record and a 3-8 conference one.

The Roadrunners are being led by Cameron Williams, who is averaging 20.5 points per game on 39 percent shooting from distance.

The Mountain Lions are led by junior Elijah Ross, who is averaging 14.5 points per game and 4.8 assists.

The Mavericks are looking to gain some momentum from their last win against Colorado Christian as they begin to wind down the season. CMU currently sits in 10th place in the RMAC, but could rise with a few good weeks.
