Jessica Cook each recorded a hat trick for Colorado Mesa University in a 16-4 win over Rockhurst in the quarterfinals of the RMAC Tournament Thursday (April 4).
The Mavericks scored the first five goals to open the game and would lead 10-1 at half.
CMU out-scored RU 6-3 over the final 30 minutes.
The Mavericks had 10 different players record a point in the contest.
Jillian Pfeifer recorded the win making three saves and allowing one goal.
Kierstin Elder made four saves and allowed three goals in 30 minutes of relief work.
CMU led in shots (25-14) and draw controls (18-3), but RU led 17-12 in ground balls.
Colorado Mesa (13-3) will face Regis in the semifinals of the RMAC Tournament.
