ALAMOSA, COLO. - The Colorado Mesa University women's lacrosse team extended its winning streak to six games after defeating Adams State 16-1 Sunday (April 2).Â
Olivia Hayden led the Mavericks with four goals, with
Lindsi Peters,
Jessica Cook and
Lydia Furrow each scoring three goals.
Jillian Pfeifer and Kierstin Elder split time in goal with each making one save. Pfeifer earned the win and allowed the one ASU goal.Â
CMU finished with a lopsided advantage in shots (29-6). Mesa also led in draw controls (14-4) and ground balls (15-11).Â
Colorado Mesa (9-2, 4-1) will host Rockhurst April 8.Â
