GRAND JUNCTION, COLO. - The Colorado Mesa University women's lacrosse team had 10 different players score a goal in an 18-6 win over CSU-Pueblo Friday (March 31).

Amanda Barton each recorded a hat trick to lead the Mavs.
The Mavericks controlled the pace of the game, not allowing back-to-back goals by the Thunderwolves until the 11:12 mark of the second half when CSUP scored the final three goals of the contest.
Shots (26-18) and ground balls (15-8) were heavily in favor of the Mavericks. The Thunderwolves led 15-11 in draw controls.
Jillian Pfeifer made five saves and allowed three goals in the first half to earn the win.
Kierstin Elder made five saves and allowed three goals playing the final 30 minutes for CMU.
Colorado Mesa (8-2, 4-1) will play at Adams State Sunday (April 1).
