GRAND JUNCTION, COLO. – The Colorado Mesa University women's lacrosse team scored a 20-2 win over Oklahoma Baptist Thursday (March 16).
Jessica Cook led the Mavericks with five goals and one assist for six points.
Olivia Hayden finished with four goals, and
Hannah Payton scored two.
CMU had 15 different players score a point in the win.
Jillian Pfeifer (4-2) made four saves and allowed one goal for CMU.
Kierstin Elder made one save and gave up one goal in 27 minutes of relief work.
The Mavericks led in shots (34-7), ground balls (18-10) and draw controls (16-7).
Colorado Mesa (4-2, 2-1) will play at Florida Tech March 20.
