BHS has been on the wrong side of the score board for the majority of the season. The team enters Saturday's matchup with only one win to their record. They have been outscored 71-7 on the season and allow 4.73 goals per game.
Last season:
In 2016 the Mavericks dominated the Yellow Jackets last season when BHS came to Grand Junction. CMU put up six goals on the day to win the game 6-0. Alexis Allard and Amanda Wenzel both scored two goals in the game.
Players to watch:
Allard scored two goals in the team's matchup on Sunday, and now leads the team in points with 11. Allard is hardly ever taken off the field and when she is on her game the Mavericks are as well. Katie Nielson is the player to watch on BHS. She currently leads the team with three goals and six points on the year.
