October 20 vs. CSU-Pueblo:
Final Push:
The season is down to its final three games for the women's soccer team. CMU currently sits in ninth place with a 3-5-1 conference record. They are only one game back from sixth place Fort Lewis who have a 4-5 conference record for the year. The teams final three games are against the fifth seeded Thunderwolves, eighth seeded New Mexico Highlands and the winless Yellow Jackets of Black Hills State.
Rough October:
It has been a month to forget so far for CMU. The team is 1-3-1 in the five games they have played in October. They have been outscored 8-5 over those five games and have been shut out once.
Last Season:
In the matchup, last season with these two teams, the Mavericks fell on the road 2-0 to the Thunderwolves. CSU-Pueblo scored two goals in four minutes in the first half and then their defense led the rest of the game. CMU finished with a lone three shots on the day.
All Time Record:
Since these two teams have been playing against one another, the teams are almost even in wins and losses. CMU has the slight edge with a 18-13-5 all-time record against the Thunderwolves and they won their last home game against them back in 2015.
Players to Watch:
Alexis Allard is the current points leader for the Mavericks with seven on the year. She also has a team high three goals for CMU. Look for her to try and end this slump for the team and get them a much needed victory. Mackenzie Bean is the one to watch for on the Thunderwolves. She leads the conference in points with 18 and goals with eight.

This is the final regular season home game for the Mavericks this season. That means it is senior night for the following players:
Halie Bergeron,
Haley Glassy and
Amanda Wenzel.

The Cowboys have played 11 games this season and they currently have a goal differential of -21 on the season.
Last Season:
In 2016 the matchup was a close one that needed overtime to decide the winner down in Las Vegas, N.M. In the 91
st minute Bergeron was able to score her second of the season for the game 2-1 game winner for CMU.
All Time Record:
The Mavericks have a commanding lead all time against the Cowboys, sitting with a 18-9-4 record overall. The last time CMU lost was back in 2014 when the Cowboys came to Walker Field and won 2-1.
Players to Watch:
This could be Bergeron, Glassy and Wenzel's final home game for the Mavericks. Look for them to try and make it a good one to leave on. As for the Cowboys Breanna Fatten is the points leader with six on three goals.
