The Mavericks earned their second victory of the week over a ranked opponent with a 31-15 win over 23rd ranked Minnesota State. They won six of the ten bouts with all of them coming for bonus points including three tech falls and two pins. Tommy Tawata started the dual out with a tech fall at 125 pounds before Minnesota State took the 133 pound bout. Colorado Mesa then rattled off four straight wins.
