Colorado Mesa won eight of the ten bouts on their way to their first victory of the day. Nick Swanson and Payton Tawater put the dual out of reach in the middle weights with back-to-back tech falls coupled with a major decision win for Jason Buhr at 165 pounds. Clayton Voytilla earned his second victory of the season with a 4-1 decision victory at heavyweight.

The Mavericks earned their second victory of the week over a ranked opponent with a 31-15 win over 23rd ranked Minnesota State. They won six of the ten bouts with all of them coming for bonus points including three tech falls and two pins. Tommy Tawata started the dual out with a tech fall at 125 pounds before Minnesota State took the 133 pound bout. Colorado Mesa then rattled off four straight wins.

Colorado Mesa closed out the Borah duals with a win over Super Region Four foe Simon Fraser, 32-12. The Mavericks had four bonus point victories that included two forfeits. Jason Buhr and Payton Tawater each had their third bonus point win of the day. Burno Nicoletti earned his second win of the season over nationally ranked Reid Watkins, 10-8.
