Colorado Mesa will open 2017 with a pair of home games this weekend against Chadron State (Friday) and Regis (Saturday). The Mavericks enter Friday's match-up on a three-game losing streak while Chadron State won its last game against Chadron State.  

Double Figures
Colorado Mesa had five players score in double figures last week at MSU Denver. The last time that Colorado Mesa had five players score in double figures was against Dine College on Nov. 18th. James Sylvester and Connor Nichols were the only two Mavericks to score double digits in both games.

Colorado Mesa has five different players averaging in double figures in scoring this season. The Mavericks have had seven different players lead the team in scoring this season.

Colorado Mesa has committed 220 fouls this season, the fewest in the RMAC. South Dakota Mines ranks second with 225.

Brandon Hoffer ranks second in the RMAC and 15th in NCAA Div. II in assist-to-turnover ratio at 3.47. He leads the team and ranks sixth in the league in assists averaging 4.0 per game.

James Sylvester dished out a season-high six assists and scored 12 points at MSU Denver last week. He is averaging 10.2 points per game this season.
