Box Score HAYWARD, CALIF. - The Colorado Mesa University women's soccer team barely fell against Stanislaus State 1-2.
 
Allie Davis came up with a goal assisted by Lauryn Lee in the 23^rd minute, to finish the first half with a tied game (1-1). 

After a heated second half the Mavericks just fell short when the Warriors got their second goal in the 59th minute. Mavericks finished the game with six shots, while the Warriors had 12.
 
Katelyn Houston finished her first game of the season with five saves for the Mavericks. Letting two goals slip past one off a penalty kick by Jade Poon.
 
Colorado Mesa will play Sonoma State next Thursday (Sept. 8) in St. George, Utah.
