No. 17 Colorado Mesa will host CSU-Pueblo this Saturday (Oct. 1) for Parent's Weekend.

Colorado Mesa moved up one spot in the AFCA Div. II Football Poll. CMU is the only RMAC team ranked in the national poll. 

Series History
Colorado Mesa trails the all-time series with CSU-Pueblo 2-5. The Mavericks won the first two meetings between the two schools in 2008 and 2009, but the Thunderwolves have won the last five.  

Interceptions
Colorado Mesa is one of seven teams in NCAA Div. II that has not thrown an interception. CMU has intercepted seven passes this season, 17th most in Div. II. 

Turnovers
Colorado Mesa is tied for the national lead with four other teams with only one turnover this season. CMU ranks sixth nationally in turnover margin at +2.25 per game. 

Field Goals
Junior Ryan Sheehan leads Div. II and ranks tied for fifth in all of college football in field goals per game with 2.5. He ranks 19th in Div. II in field goal percentage at 83-percent (10-12) and 18th in scoring with 11.5 points per game. Sheehan's streak of nine straight field goals made came to an end against Fort Lewis. 

Undefeated
Colorado Mesa and Air Force are the only two undefeated college football teams in the state of Colorado. 

Field Goal Defense
CMU has not had an opponent kick a field goal against them this season. 

Red Zone Offense
Colorado Mesa has been nearly automatic on its trips inside the redzone scoring 95-percent of the time (19-20). The Mavericks have scored 10 touchdowns and nine field goals in the their 20 trips into the redzone. 

Blocked Kicks
Junior Dustin Rivas blocked his second field goal of the season last week at Fort Lewis. Rivas ranks fifth in the nation in blocked kicks with two and ranks ninth in interceptions per game with 0.8. 

Quarterback Play
Senior Sean Rubalcaba ranks in the top-25 nationally in three different statistical categories; 15th in passing yards (1,209), 15th in passing yards per game (302.3) and 15th in total offense (330.3). 

100-Yard Receiver
Colorado Mesa had a 100-yard receiver in each of its first three games but did not have a 100-yard receiver last week against Fort Lewis. 

100-Yard Rusher
CMU has not had a 100-yard rusher this season. 

RMAC Standings
Colorado Mesa currently sits alone in first place in the RMAC with a 4-0 record. Complete standings on page three. 

Incremental Scoring
Colorado Mesa scores more points by quarter as the game goes on, 30 points in the first quarter, 34 points in the second, 37 points in the third and 41 points in the fourth quarter.
