COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. – Roy Abergil scored twice to lead the Colorado Mesa University men's soccer team to a 3-0 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference win at the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs Sunday (Sept. 18).

The Mavericks scored the first goal of the game in the final minute of the first half when Andres Delgadilo headed a corner kick in for his first goal of the season.

Roy Abergil scored his fifth goal of the season with a shot off a deflection in the 60^th minute.

He followed up with his second goal nine minutes later scoring on a rebound.

The Mountain Lions out-shot the Mavericks 16-9, but Briley Guarneri made four saves to earn his third shutout of the season for CMU.

Colorado Mesa (2-1-3, 1-0-1) will play at Westminster Sept. 23.
