Denver, Colo. – The Colorado Mesa University men's soccer team came out with a draw against MSU-Denver (0-0) in the first RMAC game of the season. Mavericks 2016 overall record is 1-1-3.

The Mavericks more than doubled up on the Roadrunners shots on goal 7-3, but the Roadrunners had five yellow cards and one red to our two yellow cards. The foul count was even on both sides—the mavericks with 14 and the Roadrunners with 13.

Senior Luis Schraidt  took four of the 16 shots for the Mavericks, while the Roadrunners took ten shots.

Goalkeeper Briley Guarneri had three saves to the Roadrunners seven tonight.

The Mavericks will face UCCS Sunday (Sept. 18) at 1 PM, in Colorado Springs, Colo.
