HAYWARD, CALIF. - The Colorado Mesa University women's soccer team settled for a 0-0 draw at Cal State East Bay Thursday (Sept. 1). 

The game was an evenly matched affair with both teams finishing with 12 shots. Lauren Thompson led CMU with a game-high five shots, including four on goal. 

Janelle Richmond-Buccola made 10 saves on 12 shots for CMU, including a save on a penalty shot in the 80th minute. 

Colorado Mesa will play at Stanislaus State Saturday (Sept. 3).
