California Baptist defeated Colorado Mesa 9-1 in the first game of the day and Cal State-San Bernadino collected a 12-4 win in game two.
CBU scored five runs on five hits in the third, and the Lancers manufactured another run in the fourth.
Sarah Phillis got the Mavs on the scoreboard with a leadoff homerun in the bottom of the fourth.
Cal Baptist scored three more runs on four hits in the fifth.
San Bernadino wasted no time putting runs on the board scoring 11 runs on seven hits and two errors in the top of the first.
The Coyotes added one run in the second to extend their lead to 12-0.
Makayla Kovac blasted her second homerun of the season in the third to breakup the shutout.
Mesa manufactured a pair of runs in the fourth and
Brooke Hodgson belted her first homerun of the season in the fifth.
Colorado Mesa (0-3) will face Concordia (Ore.) and Sonoma State Sunday (Feb. 7).Â
