Complete Notes in PDF

Colorado Mesa will close out the regular season against Westminster Friday (Feb. 26).

2,000 Points
Ryan Stephan notched a huge milestone over the weekend, becoming just the third 2,000-point scorer in Colorado Mesa history. He achieved that distinction in impressive fashion, dropping a career-high and school-record tying 45 points to pass the 2,000-point barrier in the win over Regis. The senior averaged 33.5 points per game for the weekend. His 26.1 points per game on the year leads the conference and is second most in the nation. He also pulled down 12.5 rebounds per contest in the two games this week.

RMAC Standings
Colorado Mesa will finish either third or fourth in the RMAC standings.  Colorado Mesa will host either New Mexico Highlands, UCCS or Adams State in the quarterfinals of the RMAC Tournament on Tuesday (March 1).

20 Wins
With a win Friday, Colorado Mesa will eclipse the 20 win mark for the first time since the 2009-10 season. The Mavs finished with a 23-6 mark in 2009-10 and made the schools last appearance in the NCAA Tournament.

Home Cooking
Colorado Mesa has excelled in the friendly confines of Brownson Arena posting a 10-2 record.

Thank Goodness its Friday
The Mavericks are 10-3 this season in games played on a Friday.

Shoot 50-Percent
Colorado Mesa shot over 50-percent for the 10th time this season in its win over Regis last week. The Mavs are 10-0 this season when they shoot over 50-percent and 16-2 when it shoots better than their opponents.

Lead Early
CMU is 15-1 this season when it leads or is tied at half and 3-7 when it trails at half.

Looking Ahead
CMU will host an RMAC Tournament first round game Tuesday (March 1). The opponent will be determined once all regular season games have been completed around the league.
