RMAC Home Opener This Weekend

COACHING
Head coach Taylor Wagner enters his fifth season with Colorado Mesa. He has amassed a 106-21 record and has won three RMAC Championships during his tenure. In his time, the Mavericks are 58-4 when playing at home in Brownson Arena.

VS. FORT LEWIS
Colorado Mesa is on a three-game winning streak against the Skyhawks and have won eight of the past nine contests against them. The lone loss ruined Colorado Mesa's undefeated season in 2014. 

VS. ADAMS STATE
The Mavericks have won the past nine contests against Adams State dating back to the 2011-12 season. Their average margin of victory in that streak is 16.

LEADING AT HALF
The Mavericks are 4-0 when they have a halftime lead. 

CHARITY STRIPE
Senior Sydney Small leads the Mavericks in free-throw percentage making 21-of-22 (95.5%). That ranks her No. 1 in the RMAC and ninth in Div. II.

BALL SECURITY
The Mavericks have taken care of the ball on the offensive end this season. They are only allowing 13.3 turnovers per game which ranks 27th in the country and is tops in the RMAC.

UP NEXT
The Mavericks will head out on the road to face nationally ranked CSU-Pueblo and New Mexico Highlands before the Christmas break.
