Colorado Mesa will open play in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference with a pair of road matches. Colorado Mesa will play at rival Western State Tuesday (Nov. 29) and at Westminster Saturday (Dec. 3).

Colorado Mesa has an 8-4 record in its last 12 conference openers. Westminster defeated Colorado Mesa 68-61 in the conference opener last season.

Nate Hawley tied his career-high with 17 points against MSU-Billings. The Montrose, Colo., native scored 15 of his 17 points from behind the arc. The senior is averaging 7.7 points per game and is the only CMU player who has not shot a free throw.

Brandon Hoffer tied his season-high with 10 points against No. 20 Midwestern State. The Scottsdale, Ariz., native shot 5-of-6 from the field and dished out three assists. The sophomore is averaging 5.3 points per game and leads the team with 21 assists.
3-Pointers
MSU-Billings entered last week's game with Colorado Mesa averaging 5.4 3-pointers per game. The Yellowjackets drained a season-high 18-pointers against the Mavericks, tied for sixth most by a Div. II school this season. MSU-Billings followed up with 11 3-pointers against Midwestern State the following night.

CJ Davis leads the RMAC in both 3-pointers attempted (56) and 3-pointers made (21). The native of Scottsdale, Ariz., is shooting 37.5-percent from behind the arc and is averaging a team-high 16.2 points per game.
