Box Score GOLDEN, COLO. – Jaclyn Knott scored twice to lead Colorado Mines to a 3-0 win over Colorado Mesa in women's soccer action Sunday (Oct. 9).

Brooke Stroemer scored an early goal for the Orediggers less than two minutes into the contest. Devon Dunmire sent a across to Stroemer who trapped the ball spun around and fired a shot.

Jaclyn Knott scored her first goal in the 17^th minute off a through pass from Brooke Stroemer.

Knott scored her second goal in the 60^th minute thanks to assist from Holly Weyand.

Mines finished with a 12-9 advantage in shots, but Mesa led 4-2 in corner kicks.

The Mavericks caught the Orediggers offsides four times.

Colorado Mesa (5-5-2, 3-3-1) will host Fort Lewis Friday (Oct. 14).
