LAST WEEK
The Colorado Mesa women's soccer team finished with a 0-0 draw against MSU Denver Friday (Sept. 30). The Regis Rangers scored one first half goal and two second half goals to finish with a 3-0 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference women's soccer win over the Colorado Mesa Mavericks on Sunday afternoon (Oct. 2).

THIS WEEK'S OPPONENTS
The Colorado Christian Cougars enter the match with a 2-3-0 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference record and a 5-5-0 overall.  Their leading scorers, Kielli Jordan and Alyssa Regalado both have three goals. Jordan also leads the team with seven points. The Colorado Mines Orediggers enter the weekend leading the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference with  4-1-0 conference record and a 9-1-0 overall reacord. The Orediggeres leading scorer, Emily Townsend has four goals and 10 points. Emily Garnier leads the Orediggers in assists with five. 

LAST YEAR
In the last five years the Cougars have a 4-1-1 loosing record with the Mavericks. In the last five years the Orediggers have a 7-0-0 winning record over the Mavericks.

IN THE RMAC 
The Mavericks are in good standings in a few catagories within the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. CMU is third in goals allowed with an 0.50 percent and in shutouts with five. The Mavericks are tied for third overall with Adams State and Colorado Christian University. Amanda Wenzel is second in shots per game with an average of 3.67. Janelle Richmond-Buccola is third in goals against (0.38) and save percentage (.929).

Goalkeeper Katelyn Houston leads the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference in goals against average (0.00) and save percentage (1.000).

LOOKING AHEAD
The Mavericks will host Fort Lewis Friday (Oct. 14) and Adams State Sunday (Oct. 16).
