ALAMOSA, COLO. – The Colorado Mesa University women's swimming team won all 11 events in a dual meet win at Adams State Friday (Oct. 28).
The Mavericks started the day with a win in the 200 medley in a pool-record time of 1:50.44. Members of the team included
Mary Saiz, Sam White,
Eryn Leonard and
Marissa Bradley.
Kat Gerstmar won the 1,000 free in a time of 11:28.68.
Madeline McClain won the 200 free in a pool-record time of 1:58.68, and
Mary Saiz won the 50 free in a pool-record time of 24.26. Saiz also won the 100 back in a school-record time of 58.04.
Miranda Reetz took the win in the 400 individual medley (4:56.34).
Eryn Leonard set a pool-record to win the 100 fly in a time of 59.59, and
Marissa Bradley placed first in the 100 free in a pool-record 54.14.
Abi Young won the 500 free (5:27.49), and
Miranda Reetz won the 100 breaststroke in 1:08.88.
The Mavericks closed the day with a pool-record to win the 200 free relay in a time of 1:41.03. Members of the team included
Marissa Bradley, Madeline McClain,
Eryn Leonard and
Hannah Mabile.
Colorado Mesa won the meet over Adams State 142-50.
Colorado Mesa will swim at Western State Saturday (Oct. 29).
