LAST WEEK
The CSU-Pueblo women's soccer team scored a pair of first half goals to defeat Colorado Mesa University 2-0 Friday (Oct. 21). The Colorado Mesa women's soccer team scored the golden goal just 1:22 into the overtime period for a 2-1 win over the New Mexico Highlands Cowgirls on Sunday afternoon at Perkins Stadium.
SERIES
This will be the first time the Mavericks have faced the Black Hills State University Yellow Jackets in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play.
IN THE RMACÂ
The Mavericks are in good standings in a few categories within the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. CMU is sixth in goals allowed (1.00), fifth in goals against average (0.95), and tied for fourth in shutouts with six.
Katelyn Houston is seventh in goals against average (0.90).
Janelle Richmond-Buccola is third in shutouts per game (0.43) and save percentage (0.816).
