DENVER, Colo. - The Regis Rangers scored one first half goal and two second half goals to finish with a 3-0 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference women's soccer win over the Colorado Mesa Mavericks on Sunday afternoon (Oct. 2).
The Rangers out shot the Mavericks 13-8, and 8-2 on goal.
Regis also had the advantage on corner kicks 10-1.
Janelle Richmond-Buccola made five saves for the Mavericks while Kat Crump for the Rangers had two.
The Rangers goals were scored by three different players, Rikki Fix (first goal), Caelyn Hirschman, and Emily Ramos.
Colorado Mesa will travel again next weekend to Lakewood, Colo. to play Colorado Christina University Friday (Oct. 7), and Golden, Colo. to play Colorado School of Mines Sunday (Oct. 9).
