Mavericks Fall to Griffens Late

Box Score SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Colorado Mesa women's soccer team dropped their second consecutive one-goal game, falling to Westminster on Wednesday night 1-0 at Dumke Field.
 
The Griffins scored the game-winning goal at the 88:03 mark of the match after a scrum in front of the goal.
 
Sarah Pope led the Mavericks with three shots.
 
Colorado Mesa is in the middle of a stretch where they will play five matches in nine days. Their final two matches of that stretch will come at home this weekend at Walker Field.
 
The Mavericks will play the Regis Rangers on Friday before taking on the MSU Denver Roadrunners on Sunday.
