Mavericks Fall in Overtime

Box Score ALAMOSA, Colo. – Colorado Mesa dropped their second straight match in overtime on Sunday, falling to Adams State 1-0 at ASU Soccer Field in a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference women's soccer match.
 
The Grizzlies scored the game-winner in the sixth minute of overtime on an unassisted goal by Dezirae Armijo.
 
Adams State outshot Colorado Mesa 14-9 in the match while the Mavericks committed one more foul then the Grizzlies.
 
Colorado Mesa will have three matches this week and will conclude a stretch where they will have played five matches in nine days. They will play at Westminster on Wednesday and then return home for a pair of matches against Regis and MSU Denver at Walker Field.
